Brief Description: This training session was an advanced one for 4th and 5th year students, who have completed PV systems course or Industrial power course. Eng.Hamzeh Buqaei has started this event with explaining what are the goals and visions of the energy academy in HTU and how it will help the student know more information about energy and how to get us ready for the work sector in collaboration with the SMA academy. Our trainer Eng.Omar Darwish, an application engineer at SMA Solar Technology, has given us valuable information about inverters concerning how it works from the DC and AC side while explaining their topologies and applications. For the practical part, a CORE I 50kw inverter from SMA was brought in and has been explained in detail to how it works and how each part in it works. The session included many questions from the students to the trainer and eng. Hamzeh, covering different topics in the solar energy fields.

Brief Description: A big thank you to Eng. Adham AlSbihi for leading our recent PV testing workshop in collaboration with the German Energy Academy! Attendees had the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced engineer about IEC standards, PEE & safety, system documentation requirements, LV testing equipment, visual inspections, and more. We covered topics like polarity, strings, and thermal imaging tests, as well as I-V curve tracing and analysis, and AC/DC cables insulation. Thanks to Eng. Adham's expertise, attendees left with valuable skills and knowledge to apply in their work.
