The Military Scholarships Office was established at Al-Hussein Technical University based on the agreement signed between the university and the Jordanian Armed Forces at the beginning of 2021, which states sending students from the children of workers and retirees from the armed forces and security services to Al-Hussein Technical University to study the bachelor’s only in the disciplines of engineering and computer science offered at the university. The Military Scholarships Office is responsible for managing and organizing these missions at the expense of the Jordanian Armed Forces by allocating 20% of the seats to the children of officers and members of the Armed Forces, General Intelligence and Public Security working, retired and the children of martyrs.
The agreement allows the freshmen students who have the scholarships who go to a public universities by the Royal Decree to transfer to Al-Hussein Technical University, provided that the number of hours spent by the student does not exceed (40) hours of study, and provide that (15) seats will be allocated to the children of the martyrs of the armed forces and security services for each academic year for a Bachelor’s degree, like other universities to which scholarships are granted by the Jordanian Armed Forces, completely free of charge.
Under the agreement, the university will provide 20 annual scholarships for the technical degree (technical engineer) covering 25% of the hourly fees for students who are willing from the children of workers and retirees from the armed forces and security services.
