I am transferring from another university; do I have to do the placement tests?

The English language level test is compulsory for all applicants, except
when an applicant provides an international certificate (TOEFL and
IELTS) for consideration to determine the level, after obtaining a written
approval from the Head of the Languages Department at the university. A student transferring from other universities is not required
to take the mathematics level exam and/or the Arabic language level
exam. For more information on the equivalency procedures in this case,
you can see the items "Languages" and "Basic Sciences" from the policy
of equivalency for courses that have been studied in other universities
or colleges before making a decision to apply for an equivalency or to
apply for placement exams. Placement test fees are fixed, do not
change and are non-refundable. A credit transfer equivalency request
will not be considered if you sit for a placement test.
