Established in 2020, the Online Learning Center at Al Hussein Technical University HTU (OLC@HTU) is a response to the strategic importance of online education in our rapidly evolving digital landscape. The center leads the charge in crafting high-quality e-learning content and facilitating a seamless transition to effective online learning. With comprehensive edtech services ranging from instructional design and services, to developing and operating edtech platforms and tools, to educational media production, OLC@HTU upholds the highest standards in online educational delivery. Its flagship product, htux.org, is a pioneering online education platform and educational pedagogy, offering micro-credential courses designed to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in specific technical fields. Developed in a unique "6 months Accelerated Pathways to Employability" format, these "Engineering and Tech focused" courses, delivered in Arabic, cater to a potential audience of over 100 million Arab youth. Built into HTUx's delivery model are community activation interventions that foster highly engaged learning communities. Backed by the reputation of HTU, a distinguished university, and with a steadfast focus on employability, OLC@HTU and mainly through its flagship HTUx.org stands as a transformative force in the educational landscape.
