His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein's visit to India in 2018 resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Jordanian and Indian governments to establish a center in Jordan to be an edifice for scientific research and a center specialized in training and qualifying cadres in the field of computing and information technology in order to supply the local and regional market with distinguished personnel.Since this center's concept aligned with Al Hussein Technical University's vision and mission, it was housed under the university's College of Computer and Information Technology. The center comprises computer laboratories for training courses as well as a library with over three thousand publications on computing and information technology. Furthermore, the center houses a supercomputer for scientific research, advanced computing operations, processing and storing vast amounts of data, and modeling complex systems.The university has sent a number of trainees from the university and from other Jordanian universities and various government sectors to the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), India, where they were rehabilitated and trained in the field of cybersecurity and the field of programming and website development.For more, please visit the center's webpage: Click Here
