The Center for professional Development and Community Outreach positions itself as a leader in the development and implementation of high-quality programmes that connect HTU with the local, regional, and global communities.The Center's programs continue on meeting the needs of employers while also providing youth with the skills and opportunities needed in order to succeed in the labor market.

Flagship Programs

HTU Institutional Successful Records in Upskilling & Professional Development Training Programs:

  • 2,907 Jordanian youth and employees received qualification programs in collaboration with government institutions and local and international private sector companies.
  • 1,729 out of 2,907 of the CPD trainees are Jordanian youth and women graduated from the ICT upskilling program in different 23 technical tracks in the domains of software development, networking and cyber security, and Data Science and IA:
  • 75% of them have secured jobs within 6 months after graduation.
  • 60% Females, and 40% Males.
  • 40% of trainees based in other governorates and 60% of the trainees based in Amman.
  • 13 cohorts were conducted in the ICT program, and 15 professional development trainings were conducted to employees in both private sectors. These programs were specifically designed and delivered to meet the skills needed for the workforce

HTU: Shaping Talent for SITA Amman

“Our partnership with HTU began in 2018, driving significant growth at SITA Amman. The first upskilling program, designed with HTU, was a great success, focusing on airport operations support. From program design to candidate selection, HTU’s collaboration was invaluable. Out of 20 trainees, 16 were recruited, excelling in handling customer support calls from 350 airports worldwide. Today, a quarter of our 150 staff come from HTU programs.
