Al Hussein Technical University and Total Energies Jordan Sign MoU to Support Jordanian Youth Pursuing Technical Education
(Marh 15th, 2023, Wedensday) - AMMAN - Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) and Total Energies Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly contribute to the development of supporting Jordanian youth in their pursuit of quality and market-driven technical education.
The MoU includes Total Jordan providing apprenticeships for HTU students at their facilities every semester as possible, and job opportunities for HTU's graduates when needed.
This memorandum was signed by the President of Al-Hussein Technical University; Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Hanti, and General Manager of Total in Jordan, François Gauthier de Charnas.
"This agreement is a significant step towards strengthening the academic-industrial collaboration system and promoting the employability of our students," said AlHinti
From his side, De Charnace added, "We are committed to supporting the development of young Jordanian talents and providing them with the necessary skills and experience to succeed in their careers."
The apprenticeship program aims to provide students with a workplace experience that enhances their employability and skills, contributing to their success in the job market.
Under the MoU, both parties will work towards the shared objective of contributing to the development of Jordanian youth by providing quality technical education and increasing job opportunities for graduates.
