Al Hussein Technical University Celebrates the Graduation of Its Fifth Cohort Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince

[August 9, 2025 – Amman] – Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, representing His Royal Highness, Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, celebrated the graduation of its fifth cohort this evening. The ceremony was attended by a wide range of the university’s partners from various sectors, along with graduates’ families and members of the administrative and academic staff.

This year’s graduating class included approximately 263 students from bachelor’s degree programs, second technical degree programs, and first technical degree programs, in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity.

The ceremony commenced with a formal academic procession led by HTU President, Professor Ismael Al-Hinti, followed by the playing of the national anthem. In his remarks, Professor Al-Hinti expressed his pride in the graduating class, reaffirming the university’s commitment to delivering high-quality technical education that keeps pace with the evolving labor market and enhances the competitiveness of Jordanian youth. He added:

"Today, we celebrate a new generation of talented graduates who are ready to contribute to building the future of our nation, equipped with practical skills and advanced scientific knowledge."

Guest speaker Dr. Omar Hatamleh congratulated the graduates and their families, praising HTU’s distinctive role in bridging academic education with practical application, which makes its graduates exceptionally prepared to enter the workforce and contribute to the growth of the national economy.

The ceremony featured an inspiring video showcasing the students’ most notable achievements throughout their academic journey, the honoring of top-achieving graduates, and a special musical performance by the university’s choir, which added a celebratory spirit to the occasion.

The event concluded with the awarding of diplomas to the graduates amid an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment, reflecting HTU’s mission to empower Jordanian youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead the future.
