Al Hussein Technical University participates in the opening ceremony of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Association

AMMAN - Al Hussein Technical University, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, participated the establishment of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Association. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Princess Tharwat AlHassan, Princess Sumaya bint Hassan, Princess Wijdan AlHashemi, their Imperial Highnesses of Japan, Princess Takamado and Princess Tsuguku, and Mr. Sasaki Mikio; President of the Japan-Jordanian Friendship Association.
The momentous event was also attended by Honorable Jamil bin Nasser, several ministers, dignitaries, the Japanese ambassador to Jordan, Jiro Okuyama, and Dr. Mazen Darwazah, head of the Jordan-Japanese Friendship Association, among other esteemed officials.
The primary objective of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Association is to fortify the bond between the two nations and foster collaboration in the realms of academia, culture, and economy. At its core, the association aims to promote cooperation in scientific research and academic exchanges between educational and research institutions in Jordan and Japan. Serving as a conduit between Jordanian and Japanese universities, Al Hussein Technical University will play a pivotal role in facilitating this collaboration.
In addition to academic endeavors, the association endeavors to enhance mutual understanding of Jordanian and Japanese culture within their respective societies. This will be achieved through a series of cultural activities and specialized courses aimed at deepening cultural appreciation and awareness. Moreover, the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Association will serve as a platform to facilitate networking and partnership opportunities between companies, factories, and institutions engaged in economic activities. By creating avenues for economic cooperation, the association aims to stimulate bilateral trade and provide essential support services related to the cultural nuances of both countries.
The establishment of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Association was initiated by graduates of Japanese universities, as well as prominent companies and institutions such as Al-Hikma Pharmaceutical Company, Al Hussein Technical University, Al-Markaziah Toyota Company for Car Trade, GT International Company, and Raji Wafai Al-Dajani Company for Legal Consultations. The association is honored to have His Highness Honorary Royal Prince Hassan bin Talal as its chairman, led by Al-Ain Mazen Darwazah and Executive Director Shafa Al-Zaghoul. The association's headquarters will be situated at Al-Hussein Technical University, symbolizing the pivotal role the university will play in fostering collaboration between Jordan and Japan.
