In collaboration with GIZ, and in the presence of Mr. Khaled Al Qudah, a member of the Jordanian Press Association, the Center for Professional Development and Community Outreach at Al Hussein Technical University launched today a program on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Media. The program aims to enhance the technical skills of 50 unemployed Jordanian women who have educational backgrounds in ICT fields.
This program targets talented Jordanian women in the fields of CCNA networks (20 participants), ASP.NET C# (20 participants), and digital media (10 participants), with the goal of placing them in good positions within the Information and Communication Technology sector or enabling them to creatively generate income using digital media, through the leadership and entrepreneurial skills they will acquire.
Hosted by HTU, this program provides training in personal and life skills, English language proficiency, and necessary technical training for job seekers by better preparing them for the work environment and enhancing their employability, thus improving overall work efficiency.
The program was designed to enhance participants' skills in three main dimensions, including 180 hours of technical skills training, 60 hours of personal skills training, and 100 hours of English language skills training.
