HTU and Hello World Kids Partner to Empower Young Programmers and Bridge the Digital Skills Gap

Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) and Hello World Kids signed a partnership agreement aimed at investing in the younger generation to develop skilled programmers, teach coding to youth, and transform them from technology consumers into active technology creators. The collaboration seeks to address the growing digital skills gap and equip young people with the essential competencies needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.

As part of this partnership, Hello World Kids will offer one annual scholarship covering the first-year tuition fees at HTU for students who obtain the Hello Master certification. The certification is part of the Hello World Kids Certification Program (HCP)—an internationally recognized credentialing system launched during GESS Dubai 2022. The Hello Master certificate is the first in the HCP pathway and consists of three specialized certifications earned through seven comprehensive exams.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Al Hussein Technical University, and Ms. Hanan Khader, Founder and CEO of Hello World Kids, in the presence of faculty and administrative representatives from both institutions.

During the signing ceremony, Prof. Al-Hinti expressed his appreciation for this valuable collaboration, describing it as a meaningful and effective step toward encouraging self-learning and continuous development of the modern technical skills essential for the digital age. He emphasized the importance of linking these skills to higher education pathways that reinforce and expand students’ technical expertise.

For her part, Ms. Khader expressed her delight in announcing the partnership with HTU, describing it as an important and long-term collaboration aligned with the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, which centers on building a bright and sustainable future for Jordanian youth.

It is worth noting that Al Hussein Technical University, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation, is a national, non-profit private university that delivers an applied education model focused on enhancing both technical and essential skills in engineering and technology fields. The university’s mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical education and practical application, nurture innovation and entrepreneurship, and serve the local community through training programs targeting job-seeking youth and career-awareness initiatives for school students across Jordan.

Meanwhile, Hello World Kids is a leading educational technology company dedicated to nurturing programming talent among children aged 6 to 18 years. The company’s mission is to simplify coding for young learners, discover their potential through a unique certification journey, and build the largest community of young coders in the region. By granting internationally recognized certifications, Hello World Kids opens doors to countless opportunities and global exposure for the next generation of innovators.
