HTU and Network International Sign MoU to Strengthen Technical Education and Industry Collaboration
In line with its ongoing commitment to advancing technical education and fostering collaboration with the industrial sector, Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Network International, one of the region’s largest providers of digital payment solutions.
This strategic partnership aims to enhance technical education in Jordan by offering training opportunities for HTU students and employment opportunities for qualified graduates, including alumni of the Information Technology Skills Development Program implemented by Network International. Both parties also agreed to collaborate on joint research initiatives and to work together on curriculum development that aligns academic learning with real-world market demands.
During the signing ceremony, Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Al Hussein Technical University, emphasized the significance of this partnership, noting that it represents “an important milestone in the university’s efforts to strengthen technical education and expand its collaboration with the private sector.”
Mahmoud Obeidat, from the Center of Excellence at Network International, expressed the company’s strong commitment to supporting technical education and innovation in Jordan, while also investing in talent development and driving positive change within the community.
It is worth noting that Al Hussein Technical University, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation, is a national, non-profit private university offering a modern applied education model that develops essential and technical skills in engineering and information technology. The university strives to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, aligning academic outcomes with the evolving needs of local and global labor markets, while fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among its students.
