HTU and the National Cyber Security Center Celebrate the Graduation of the 10th Nashama Cybersecurity Bootcamp
Amman - Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, celebrated the graduation of the 10th cohort of the Nashama Cybersecurity Bootcamp, implemented in partnership with the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), as part of ongoing national efforts to prepare qualified talent for one of the fastest-growing and most critical technology sectors. The graduating cohort completed an intensive 440-hour training journey, combining advanced technical cybersecurity training with English language and professional skills development. The program included 280 hours of specialized technical training in cybersecurity, 100 hours of English language training, and 60 hours of soft skills, ensuring that participants are equipped not only with technical knowledge, but also with the communication and workplace competencies required to enter the labor market. The bootcamp was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical skills demanded by the cybersecurity sector. Through hands-on training and applied learning, participants developed competencies that support their readiness for careers in cybersecurity and enhance their ability to respond to the evolving challenges of the digital landscape. The graduation reflects the continued partnership between HTU and NCSC in building national capabilities and investing in young Jordanian talent. It also reinforces the role of applied training programs in supporting Jordan’s digital transformation, strengthening the local cybersecurity ecosystem, and responding to the growing demand for skilled professionals in the field. Through programs such as the Nashama Cybersecurity Bootcamp, HTU continues to advance its mission of linking education with employment, preparing youth with market-relevant skills, and contributing to a more competitive and future-ready national workforce.
