HTU Honors Scholarship Recipients in Recognition Ceremony Sponsored by University Partners
Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, held a special ceremony today to honor students who received scholarships for the current academic semester, generously supported by HTU’s distinguished partners: the Al-Kayyali and Al-Hasban families, Housing Bank, Nobles Properties, Mr. Khalil Allawi, Mrs. Rania Nimer Abdel Aal, Jordan Aviation, and the Microfund for Women. The event also celebrated recipients of the Teachers’ Children Scholarships, Academic Excellence Scholarships, and Governorate Top Achievers Scholarships.
The ceremony aimed to recognize the hard work and determination of students who earned these valuable opportunities to pursue their education at one of Jordan’s leading applied universities. It also served as an opportunity for students to meet and engage with their sponsors in person.
During the event, Dr. Mariam Beltawi, Dean of Student Affairs, expressed her pride and happiness in welcoming this outstanding group of new scholarship students, noting that they represent a select number chosen from among many strong applicants. She reaffirmed her confidence in their potential and emphasized the University’s commitment to supporting them throughout their academic journey.
HTU President, Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, also addressed the audience, extending his deep appreciation to the donors for their continued trust and belief in HTU’s mission and in Jordan’s youth as the driving force of the nation’s future. He also expressed his gratitude to the students’ families for the vital role they played in nurturing and supporting their children to reach this milestone and seize such exceptional opportunities.
Speaking directly to the students, Prof. Al-Hinti shared his pride in welcoming them as new members of the HTU community, describing the University as an inclusive and empowering institution open to all young Jordanians—regardless of their background, school, or home governorate.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. Al-Hinti and Dr. Beltawi presented commemorative certificates to the scholarship recipients in the presence of representatives from the supporting organizations, which offer partial, full, and continuing scholarships to HTU students.
HTU takes pride in being one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s leading national initiatives, offering a distinctive educational model that combines technical, personal, and professional skills with STEM-based learning, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared to compete in both local and global labor markets. Today, nearly 30% of HTU’s students study through scholarships provided by generous partners and sponsors.
