A delegation from Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) Library participated in the Cairo International Book Fair, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Bayan Naanaa, Head of HTU Library, stated that participating in such major cultural events strengthens the ongoing cooperation between HTU Library and the publishers participating in the fair. She emphasized that the visit reflects the Library’s commitment to expanding cultural exchange and fostering partnerships with regional and international publishing houses.
Through this participation, HTU aims to enrich its library collections by acquiring the latest publications, books, journals, and cultural materials from across the Arab world and beyond. The selection of books was guided by the academic needs and recommendations of HTU’s schools and departments to ensure alignment with the University’s educational and research priorities.
The Cairo International Book Fair, now in its 54th edition, opened on January 26 and is considered one of the largest gatherings of publishers in the Middle East and the world, featuring 1,074 publishers from 53 countries.
