The Royal Medical Services (RMS) and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) signed a training and academic cooperation agreement today at the RMS headquarters, marking a new milestone in strengthening collaboration between the education and health sectors in Jordan.
The agreement was signed by Brigadier General Dr. Yousef Zreiqat, Director General of the Royal Medical Services, and Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Al Hussein Technical University. It outlines a framework for training HTU students at the RMS Institute of Medical Equipment Technology, and for joint cooperation in areas such as curriculum development, academic enhancement, and the organization of lectures and workshops aimed at improving the quality of education and practical training.
Brig. Gen. Dr. Zreiqat emphasized that HTU represents a distinguished academic institution, and reaffirmed the RMS’s continuous support for educational entities and their mission to prepare highly qualified graduates. He noted that this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing and modernizing educational and training systems in the Kingdom.
For his part, Prof. Al-Hinti praised the Royal Medical Services for its ongoing contributions to training, capacity building, and excellence in the medical field, expressing appreciation for their role in fostering applied education and providing practical experience for HTU students.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number of RMS officers and representatives from Al Hussein Technical University.
