HTU Signs Cooperation Agreement with JEPCO to Enhance Student Training and Technical Collaboration

Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO) to strengthen collaboration in student training and professional development.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Hassan Abdullah, General Manager of JEPCO, and Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, President of Al Hussein Technical University.
The partnership aims to establish sustainable and practical training pathways for HTU students and graduates, equipping them with hands-on experience in energy engineering and technology disciplines.
During the signing ceremony, Eng. Hassan Abdullah expressed his appreciation for HTU as a distinguished national academic institution that continuously contributes to the local market with highly qualified graduates. He described the agreement as a genuine partnership that paves the way for broader cooperation opportunities between the two institutions.
From his side, Prof. Al-Hinti highlighted the significance of JEPCO as a leading source of expertise in the energy sector, noting its long-standing role in Jordan’s development. He emphasized HTU’s belief in private-sector collaboration, explaining that the university’s curricula are designed in close consultation with industry experts to ensure a comprehensive and applied learning experience for students.
