HTU Wraps Up Final Project Presentations for ICT Upskilling Program in Collaboration with DigiSkills

The Center for Career Development and Community Outreach at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) has successfully concluded a three-day event showcasing the final projects of participants in the ICT Upskilling Program. The program is held in partnership with DigiSkills Association and funded by the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (YTJ) project at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
This milestone event marked the culmination of an intensive six-month training journey, during which participants received 180 hours of specialized technical training across six core tracks:
Cybersecurity, Full-Stack Web Development, Appian Technology, Cloud Computing (AWS), Manual Software Testing, and Automation Software Testing.
In addition to the technical training, participants completed 60 hours of life and employability skills training and 100 hours of Business English, significantly enhancing their readiness for the job market.
The event brought together expert evaluation panels composed of HTU’s partners from the public and private sectors. Over 15 leading companies and institutions participated in the event, including:
ZagTrader, NEXTWO, Inspire, Q-Pros, SMT Group, Estarta, Arab Bank, Eon Dental, Dumyah, EMMA System, Optimiza, the Greater Amman Municipality, and Al Mamlaka TV.
Trainees had the opportunity to present their final projects before professional judging panels, receiving real-time feedback, insightful discussions, and exposure that strengthened their employability prospects.
