Joint Delegation from Jordan’s Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission and Syria’s Central Commission for Inspection and Control Visits Al Hussein Technical University
Amman – Thursday, 5 February 2026 — Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s initiatives, welcomed a joint delegation led by Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission President H.E. Dr. Muhannad Hijazi, accompanied by an official delegation from Central Commission for Inspection and Control, headed by Mr. Amer Al-Ali, during an official visit to the university aimed at exploring HTU’s model in technical education and its alignment with labor market needs.
The delegation was received by HTU President Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, who welcomed the guests and presented the university’s vision and educational mission, which center on applied learning and the development of both technical and life skills. He highlighted HTU’s academic programs, designed and delivered in close partnership with the public and private sectors, as a means to bridge the gap between higher education outcomes and real-world market requirements. Prof. Al-Hinti emphasized the pivotal role of technical education as a key driver of economic development and a cornerstone in preparing national talent capable of keeping pace with rapid technological change.
For his part, Dr. Hijazi underscored the importance of strengthening knowledge exchange between educational and oversight institutions, noting the vital role universities play in embedding the values of integrity and transparency through education, training, and capacity building—contributing to improved institutional performance and stronger governance.
Mr. Al-Ali praised the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries and stressed the value of expanding cooperation and sharing expertise in areas of mutual interest. He commended HTU’s role in advancing technical education and keeping abreast of emerging technologies, expressing the Commission’s interest in benefiting from the university’s expertise in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
The visit forms part of broader efforts to enhance regional cooperation and exchange institutional best practices, supporting the advancement of education and training ecosystems and the development of human capital in line with modern global standards.
