ProgressSoft and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

ProgressSoft and Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a dynamic partnership aimed at empowering students with suitable experiences and employment opportunities within the IT sector.

Driven by the mutual goal of aligning industry needs with academic requirements, the new partnership encompasses several key initiatives including apprenticeships as part of ProgressSoft’s International Internship Program for students to gain practical experience under the guidance of dedicated mentors, as well as co-teaching programs that will enrich academic courses by incorporating the latest industry developments.

The partnership also incorporates train the trainer models for university professors and instructors to support HTU’s upskilling programs, as well as continuous curriculum revisions and recommendations for alignment with technological advancements and workplace requirements.

Moreover, the partnership will pave the way for joint initiatives between ProgressSoft and HTU, such as conferences, workshops and seminars, facilitating knowledge sharing and creating collaborative research opportunities.

The signing ceremony took place at ProgressSoft’s headquarters with the presence of HTU’s President, Prof. Ismael Al-Hinti, and ProgressSoft’s Co-Founder and CEO, Mr. Michael Wakileh, who have expressed their enthusiasm about the newfound partnership and the benefits it will bring to students and the industry at large.
