Signing of a memorandum of understanding between HTU, the Ministry of Social Development and (NICCOD)

Today, Tuesday, Al-Hussein Technical University, the Ministry of Social Development and the Nippon International Cooperation for Community Development (NICCOD) signed a memorandum of understanding at the Juvenile Education House in Amman, to implement a step that seeks to teach children basic digital skills.

This memorandum, signed by the Minister of Social Development Ayman Al-Mufleh, the President of Al Hussein Technical University, Prof. Ismail AlHinti, and the representative of the NICCOD Organization Kenta Kitagaki, aims to activate the relationship of partnership and cooperation for the effective implementation of the project to support the implementation of correctional services that focus on care in the juvenile education house Russeifa.

Under this memorandum, the beneficiaries of the home will be taught to use the computer and digital skills, which includes a series of courses that include the Windows operating system and how to use it, creating and editing documents using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the use of the Internet, provided that Al Hussein Technical University will implement the project in direct coordination with NICCO.

The Ministry seeks to provide educational sessions for its beneficiaries, within the course of the methodological activities in the various centers, as one of the most important educational and reform axes that it follows in modifying the behavior of the beneficiaries, directing them towards positivity and engaging in society after they leave the home.

It is noteworthy that Al Hussein Technical University is one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, which aims to bridge the gap between the number of graduates and their employment rates in the technical fields, in implementation of its mission of enriching the Jordanian technical workforce through a dynamic, practical and applied educational experience to raise a generation of qualified technicians and professionals High to make an effective contribution to all projects that serve the country and in all fields.
