Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Al Hussein Technical University Celebrates Graduation of its Fourth Batch
[Friday, August 17, 2024] – AMMAN – Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and on his behalf, the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Azmi Mahafzah, attended the graduation ceremony of Al Hussein Technical University’s (HTU) fourth batch of students. A total of 266 students graduated with bachelor’s and technical degrees across the university’s nine majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Game Design and Development, and Architecture.
Continuing its legacy of excellence, HTU has once again achieved a 100% employment rate for its graduates, marking the fourth consecutive batch to reach this milestone. This achievement underscores the university’s unwavering commitment to realizing the Royal Vision of empowering Jordanian youth, equipping them with the skills needed to compete both locally and globally.
In his opening remarks, Professor Ismael Al-Hinti, President of HTU, congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of knowledge and innovation. He reaffirmed HTU’s commitment to narrowing the gap between academic education and industry needs, preparing graduates who are not only technically proficient but also equipped with the life skills necessary for successful careers.
“The graduation of this fourth batch of students is a testament to HTU’s dedication to fostering an educational environment that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical experience,” said Professor Al-Hinti. “We are proud of our graduates, who are now ready to contribute to the development of Jordan and beyond.”
HTU’s unique educational model emphasizes project-based learning, with a strong focus on practical training and internships. The university has established partnerships with over 240 companies across local, regional, and international sectors, providing students with invaluable real-world experience. The graduates completed eight-month professional internships as part of their studies, ensuring they are well-prepared to enter the workforce and make an immediate impact.
This year’s graduates join a growing network of HTU alumni who have secured positions in leading companies and organizations. Many have also pursued further studies at prestigious universities worldwide, enhancing their knowledge and expertise.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas and the traditional cap-and-gown procession, followed by a reception where graduates, their families, and faculty members celebrated their success.
